My friend sent me Maa-kun's cookbook and it's all just so cute. I loved the interview at the end so I sat down and translated it this morning. I just love everything about this cookbook and this interview and this man (in related news, water is wet)

So I decided over winter break to be less of a lazy shit and start making more and different dinners. And what better way to combine all the things I love in life than by working my way through "One Dish" recipes? So I'm going to attempt to make all the things Sakamoto has on the teevee (to the extent that I can because I can only get so many of these ingredients even here in Seattle). As I make them, I'll update with links to my tumblr for the English translations. If you want the blog where I'm getting most of these recipes from, ask and ye shall receive (it's all in Japanese, obviously, but). And I guess if you have something you'd like to see translated, let me know and I can probably get that done right quick (and maybe also cooked up!) Oh, and just for clarification, I'm using McCune-Reischauer for all my Korean romanization needs. If that bothers you, well, blame academia.
