I have my con reports halfway written but I just don't feel like finishing writing them, or scanning the many things I bought, so here's a short translation of an interview that popped up on my Twitter feed months and months ago that I wanted to translate. Not much real info about V6 or anything, but it's still a nice little interview.

Tell us about your current job. Tell us about a project that left a strong impression on you.

When I was chosen to be the producer of Cybird's first IP1 game, "Lovecen ~My Secret Love With V6~." It wasn't long after I'd joined the company, and I was really involved with the project from its startup until now, so it left me with a lot of memories of it.

From the beginning up until its release, we didn't do things how we usually do them, so it's all thanks to the many people who've played it that it's become so popular.

Tell us a bit about some troubles or about the development of "Lovecen" that we don't know about.

There were some, yeah, and what I realized would be the first trouble was mainly in building up a relationship built on trust with people outside the company who would be involved with the game.

First, more than just working jointly on a game with people in another company, normally, there are people who don't really play social games, so we do things like try to avoid a lot of technical terms, make a lot of use of records and photos, and figure out ways to make the explanations easy for people to understand.

And again, there'll come times when we absolutely have to check or verify something really quickly, when we have to bother our co-workers, or when we only have 10 minutes to check something.

"Lovecen" was released in October of 2013 and has become more popular since then -- a fact about which you can definitely boast -- so tell us what you think the secret of its success is!

Naturally, nationally, V6 is a very popular idol group, so if I had to say there was some sort of secret about it, from a management perspective... it's a pretty simple reason, but our team members all have a lot of love for V6.

For example, in our morning meetings, someone will say "A V6 member received an award! Let's give them a round of applause!" and so it's become pretty much necessary for our team members to share in V6's lives.

Tell us something you in the management team strive to do.

We always try to create an atmosphere where we can easily have discussions with one another.
After that, there's always going to be times when work gets to be really hard, right? So in those times, we try to keep our heads about us and solve problems. I think it's important to lead by example. And to show that in these types of difficult situations, this is how you get through them. And I feel like when you do that, little by little, you'll develop those relationships built on trust.

What do you think is the best thing about working at Cybird?

I feel like there are a lot of people on the staff at Cybird whom I can respect without regard for age or their position.
I'm glad I'm able to cherish such wonderful people.

After this, what do you want to do at Cybird?

Without just being limited by social games, there's a lot of games we haven't released, and I'd like to make a lot of people happy. I'd like to create that kind of condition. More and more, I'd like to surprise a lot of people.
