Trying to get out and see as much of the PNW as I can before I move next year. Finally went to Discovery Park and saw the Lighthouse.

Also, if you feel like throwing a couple bucks my way per month to help me get by/take more photos/go more places to take more photos, I created at Patreon here. (Seriously, no worries if you can't. It's not like I'm going to stop taking photos or posting them here, but a couple bucks a month would go a long way)

Date: 2015-05-12 04:13 am (UTC)It does "rain" a lot here, but what people call rain we don't really call rain. There's precipitation a lot of days, but what that usually means is there's a light mist and if you're outside walking around for 20 minutes, you'll get kind of damp. It's really not bad, and all you need is a light rain jacket, but it can be rainy early in the morning and at night, so people get down and complain about it. I love it, but I also am out a lot during the day when it's sunny. Summer it hardly rains at all, and our "rainy season" is what you might be more used to in the rainy season, only ours is in October and March. That's really it. It never really gets cold or snows (maybe once every couple years), so it's a good trade-off c:
Yeah, summer is just around the corner. I'm with you -- I don't really like winter and I'm so glad we're coming out of it. It's been near 26C lately and that's just perfect for me (and it doesn't get much hotter than that in summer. Seattle is perfect is what I'm saying ^^; )
