I've prepared for summer by buying a wind chime and electric fan. I should probably be able to beat the summer heat.
Lately, we've been on music shows, so the six of us have been getting together again for the first time in a long time. As we look ahead to next year, the 20th year since our debut, I think our activities as a group will increase little by little, and we'll be getting together a lot more. We still haven't really processed that next year is our 20th year. For me, I get kind of a weird feeling (laughs), as far as processing it and doing more activities, but I'd like to show our thanks to the fans, so it would be nice if we had an opportunity to do that.
Right now, I'm passing my time pretty comfortably. And speaking of, something moved me. About three years ago, my mom gave me this red flowerpot and I planted it and now there's a small tree growing. But like, I wasn't that into it so I just put it out on my veranda and forgot about it. But then like, I looked out on my porch and saw this huge tree growing. Even though I didn't do anything for it, I was like, "wow, it's got a lot of vitality." I've moved it to a place where I can look at it a lot more and repaired three years worth of neglect. I'm going to look after it properly from now on.
I did all sorts of preparations to get ready for summer this year. Right, so I bought this wind chime, and an electric fan. When the windows are open and the wind comes through the fan and the wind chime, I feel like I can beat the summer heat. I looked for a really long time for this wind chime, and I found it and got super into it when I found it in this furniture store. It's high-pitched, but it's this really nice high pitch. Having the wind chime and electric fan, I feel quite cool.
What I want to eat in summer... um, soumen, I guess? I don't really eat shaved ice/sno-cones, but I do eat a lot of sweet things. With sweets, it's like, "why are they so good?!" (laughs) What I'm most into is taiyaki. Delicious taiyaki is always different. I have this taiyaki place I go to every day (laughs). I wake up in the morning and I'm like "I want soe taiyaki" so I go to the store and it's kind of become my daily routine ... oh my god! It hurts me inside to go a day without eating it (laughs).
