Forbidden City, Beijing, China 2014.09.06, part 1/3

I made the rookie mistake of going to the Forbidden City on the first day of the three-day Mid-Autumn Festival weekend, and that was a nightmare, but I can't say I really regret it because five year old me finally got to see the palace and it's gorgeous and was worth it, even if my feet and calves disagree.
