The newest "messages from V6" in TV Station is just so cute (domestic!maa-kun yes i'm here for that), and it only took like, 15 minutes to translate, so here it is.

We thought it would be interesting to see how foreigners view Japan, so we're really enjoying doing "Amazipang!" (airing every Tuesday on TBS at 12:41AM). Things that are obvious to Japanese would be odd to foreigners, so we thought, wouldn't it be nice if people could see the good things about Japan in a new light. When I'm filming with Ken, I can really feel that he's got a gift for this (laughs). When the video of a a foreigner who lives on a boat came on screen, Ken went, "the semicircular canals are quite strong" and I was so surprised by it, I went, "you were paying that much attention?!" (laughs)

I've talked about this a little before, but I went to New Zealand with "One Dish" during Golden Week. I'm the type who gets really jet-lagged, so since the time difference between there and Japan is only 3 hours, it was a life-saver. When I asked to visit New Zealand, they said, "OK!" and everyone was really nice. What was really interesting was that my hotel room was gigantic; something like 2LDK. The living room alone was the size of like, 30 tatami mats, so I had no idea where I should even be (laughs). A while ago, when the 6 of us all went to Las Vegas, Nagano's room was so huge they, for some reason, had a grand piano in there, and we had trouble finding the light switch. It just made me think of that (laughs).

The mood in both New Zealand and Japan was about the same, so it was easy to spend time there. I'd like to go back on my next vacation.

Recently, I've been getting into making sweet and sour chicken, where I buy fried chicken and substitute that for the pork in sweet and sour pork. I want to have fun and make good food. Along with that, I look forward to buying food at the supermarket like I always do. It's a great stress reliever. I was making hamburgers and thought, "wouldn't this be nice if it were served on an iron plate?" so I went out and bought an iron plate -- not an expensive one, but I probably did spend quite a bit of money (laughs).

Maa-kun is following the footsteps of Mama Nagano.
I hope they'll reformat Amazipang! I want them all back.

Thanks a lot :)
