I was going to go in order of the pamphlet, but I keep having trouble with a couple sentences in Ken's, so I just decided to finish Nagano's and post it. Hopefully now that I'm starting a real people job with real people hours, I can translate more like I used to before grad school threw my life into chaos.

"Concerts are our precious 'home' to us"

"A place where we'll show off the songs each member produced! I want this to be a concert that will make the fans say 'Oh! My! Goodness!'"

I felt really strongly that this year, "I really want to do a concert tour!" We were able to release an album before we set off on this tour, so this will be a tour where we can pull songs off the album. That makes me really happy.

I have a lot of memories of our last tour about a year and a half ago, and my feelings for putting together a concert haven't changed. I always want to do "something interesting, something new." Doing concerts, we want our fans to smile, and to feel like they would want to come back... we're like, if we could do that for our fans, that would be great.

On our last tour, we performed in Yokohama Arena after quite a long time. We also did the 360 stage after a long time, too.We were the only ones doing the 360 degree stage, so I think that tour was probably the first time we did it. Back then, we also had Juniors dancing backup for us. On the 360 degree stage, we obviously can't fill up all the space, and there are no pictures displayed behind us, so we're restricted in what we can do, so it's totally different than the normal 180 degree stage. More than anything, on our last tour, we were always conscious of doing performances where our fans would be able to see all of our faces. The "one song we wanted to perform on the main stage" was one we were performing for the first time, "Break the Wall," and we wanted to be sure that the fans behind us would be able to enjoy it, so we had the choreography done to take into account the 360 degrees.

Looking back on our last tour, we celebrated my birthday on stage at Yokohama Arena on October 9th. It was my first time doing a concert on my birthday, so I was pretty happy. The cushion Okada gave me on that day is still on my sofa, and I still use the slippers Inohara gave me. I'm still surrounded by the presents the members gave me. Oh, but lately I haven't really used the weightlifting belt Sakamoto gave me... (laughs)

On this concert tour, we're going to places we haven't gone in a while. When it comes to our fans' reactions, parts about those places have changed, and we'll be seeing fans we haven't seen in a while, and we're looking forward to how excited they'll be getting. Speaking of, on our last tour, there was a different feeling of doing jokes and things during MC time in the different regions than there is in Tokyo. During MC, in Tokyo, the timing is a little different, so in these different regions, the reactions are different... it's fun.

This time, we're performing songs from our album "Oh! My! Goodness!" and at the centre of all that, we're thinking about how they'll flow and things like that. "How can we show off this song?" "How long should we dance for?" and things like that. And after that, keeping in mind the flow of the songs, we wondered, "is this song order good?" and how they connect, the time we'll have to change clothes, so we decided on each and every song after talking it all over together. Within all that, the highlight is that we'll be able to show off the songs we each produced. We definitely put a lot of our feelings into each of our songs. But, on the album songs, we made them songs where the members voices would seem to stand out more than they have before, so I think that having that kind of atmosphere also resound when we're doing concerts would be great.

As far as "Senkou Hanabi (Sparklers)," the song I produced, goes, I think the atmosphere is important. We sing it gently and at the top of our voices, so I thought about a lot of different things. When it comes to performing a song like that, when I first said, "I want to do it like this!" according to the image I first had in my head and told that to the staff, we had them see whether or not it was feasible. After that, we had a feeling for how to put the songs together one by one.

At the heart of this year's performances is "3D projection mapping," which we've used for the first time. From the opening, the technique we use is like a teaser of our apprearance. It's just normal 3D projection, and though it generally has no real use or meaning, we want to show that, in V6's concerts, kind of "this is what it's like!" Even with that, we want to link our performances with our video clips. And speaking of the set... we'd like you to pay see the atmosphere and the makeup of the main stage. We asked for our previous PVs to be used in this set design, so for the fans, the moment it pops out, we'd be happy if you could take in the makeup and the atmosphere of it. Putting it all together, we think this is a tour where you'll unconsciously want to say "Oh! My! Goodness!" The tour and the album are both titled "Oh! My! Goodness!" and those are the kind of thoughts we've put a lot of effort into with the tour this time.

For me, during concerts, in a good way, I think I can have a bit of leeway. When there's just a ton of singing and dancing, there's no real leeway there, so I really can't show love to the fans or see everyone's faces. In situations where we can have leeway, we can see everyone's faces, their expressions, and during concerts, I want to see those reactions without rushing around. Every time we do a concert, that's the way I'd like to approach it.

When you say "V6-like concerts," it's an adult-like production and atmosphere... and beyond that, definitely dancing. For example, lately, we've been trying lots of different formations, and adding different types of dances, which is becoming difficult as we age... When I remember the dances to our old songs, I'm like "wow, I got it perfectly!" (laughs). That's right, I personally don't really bulk up for concerts. What I mean by that is that because I'm conscious of how it's all done, before the show, I work on the dances, songs, etc. as much as I can without worrying or getting nervous.

My first thought when we first do a concert is "don't get hurt..." And then, "I wonder how the fans will react?", and I'm always really curious about that. When the show is over, the things that got good reactions, or the things that didn't fit together... we honestly don't really know when we do them, so there's a lot, I'm sure.

With concerts, there's songs, MC, dancing, reactions, there are a lot of things for you to see, so at this place where we show them off, it's like a place where our fans warm-heartedly welcome us. So for us, concerts are precious places!
